2004-11-04, barbranews - River Valley Artists Guild invite the Tri-Atate area to their Fourth Annual Black Mountain Fine Art Show. The show features the best and latest works by award winning and emerging artists from the region. It is an art event that should not be missed.Bullhead City, AZ (PRWEB) November 4, 2004 -- The River Valley Artists Guild, Inc. (RVAG) will be presenting the Fourth Annual Black Mountain Fine Art Show to be held at Riverview Mall, 2350 Miracle Mile, next to Sav-on Drugs. The Show is free and open to the public Saturday, November 20th from 10 am to 4 pm (AZ) and Sunday, November 21st from 10 am to 3 pm (AZ). Local and regional artists will present their finest work in this juried art show. Over 200 pieces of fine art will be on display and for sale. Awards will be given to the best pieces in each category which include: oil, watercolor, acrylics, mixed media, pastels, graphics, photography, stained glass, sculpture and pottery. Award winning artists include Janis Newton, Molly Barnett, Marvin Browning, Lorissa J. Longfellow, Renee Lane, Pat Sellon, Mary Trahan, Joyce Regan and many more. Along with the juried exhibit, a fine art boutique will be selling art items made by the participating artists. Items for sale will include limited edition prints, pottery, handmade jewelry, note cards and more. It will be a great opportunity to start your holiday shopping and purchase one-of-a-kind gifts. The Annual Black Mountain Fine Art Show was established as an effort to exhibit the fine art to our community, to create opportunity for local and regional artist to present their latest and best works of art and to promote visual arts in the Tri-State area. Visitors to the exhibit will have the opportunity to meet artists and purchase original works of art. The show will also include demonstrations by some of the artists. River Valley Artist Guild, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage individual efforts and community interest in the creative arts. Every year the guild participates in and presents local arts programs including a High School Art Show, high school and community college arts scholarships, a college art show at MCC, the Black Mountain Art Show, the Arts and Crafts fair held annually during Hardyville Days, and the annual guild showcase at the Laughlin Library. River Valley Artists Guild`s programs are sponsored in part by Sav-on Drugs, the Colorado Belle, Murphy Broadcasting, the Sunridge Village and many other generous supporters of the arts.
